Towards the end of the 19th century and well into the 20th century many manufacturers produced trade cards as a collector orientated form of marketing. Most well known are cigarette cards though this card offered here was from a Coffee manufacturer, that produced a number of cards of different countries, this being number 94. As can be seen on the card, the Australian population is recorded at 3,471,102.
